Who we are
ECHOFLICKS S.L. is a company registered in Barcelona, Spain. Echoflicks provides an AI-powered storytelling service through WhatsApp and related web experiences. Users upload photos and media, and Felix creates short cinematic films called Echoes.

What data we collect
We may collect phone number, email address, WhatsApp account information, uploaded photos/videos, messages sent to Felix, generated Echo videos, technical logs, analytics data and payment-related records.
User-submitted content may include family members, children, friends and other individuals appearing incidentally within personal memory content.
How we use data
We use data to create and deliver Echo videos, maintain the user’s cinematic memory archive, improve service reliability, provide support, process payments, maintain security and comply with legal obligations.
Echoflicks may use limited facial similarity and grouping technologies to help organise and improve continuity across a user’s own Echoes and memories.
Echoflicks does not use user content to train, fine-tune or improve AI foundation models.
Legal basis
Our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required and legal obligations.
Retention
Photos, videos and generated Echoes are stored while a user account remains active so users can continue accessing and managing their cinematic archive. Users may delete individual Echoes, associated source media or their account.
Processors
We may use processors including WhatsApp/Meta, AWS, Google, ElevenLabs, Kling AI and Stripe. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as DPAs, SCCs and recognised transfer mechanisms.

Security
We use reasonable security measures including EU-based infrastructure, role-based access, MFA, unique internal accounts and credential management.
Your rights

Users may also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
Children’s data
Users may upload family photographs that include children. Users are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights and permissions to upload submitted content.
